In the 3rd Winter Carnival, our goal was to provide scholarship support to university students who lost their parents in the earthquake and to create lasting impact by fostering hope, resilience, and a strong sense of solidarity within our community, contributing to a renewed sense of unity and positivity in our city.
We independently managed the entire process from start to finish, taking full responsibility for planning, coordination, and execution. We personally secured all sponsorships through individual meetings, building each partnership one by one. Through months of dedicated preparation, we successfully brought this event to life as a meaningful initiative that strengthened unity and solidarity in our city.
Since last year, we have continued our STEM Week initiative for a total of 6 weeks. Throughout these visits, we conducted activities related to the environment, robotics demonstrations, hands-on crafts, art, and technology. We introduced students to basic robotics concepts and engaged them with interactive experiences.
In total, we visited 16 primary and middle schools, aiming to make STEM more accessible and engaging for students while encouraging their curiosity and interest in science and technology.
We believed that a single gift can bring a piece of happiness, so we set out to learn about the dream gifts of primary school students with limited opportunities and deliver them to them. We mentored 48 middle school students from our school, guiding them to find sponsors and take part in meetings. We presented the gifts to the children through fun activities and games, making sure to protect their feelings and bring them joy.
We invited another team established in Hatay, the AntiochRising FRC team, to our school to watch the Kickoff event and connect with our team. This helped us build strong bonds between the two teams in our city. We shared our rookie experience and insights from our first regional competition. It was a meaningful step toward collaboration and solidarity between teams, and we gained new friendships along the way.
After spending a joyful day with children battling leukemia, we hope we have left them with meaningful memories and touched their hearts. Through our LÖSEV project, which we organized on two different dates, we reached 88 children aged 6 to 10 with whom we carried out various activities—and we will continue to reach more.
Through our weekly social media content, we aim to make knowledge accessible and engaging for a wider audience. Each week, we share content on science, robotics, art, and more to inspire curiosity and learning.
We also raise awareness about FIRST by highlighting its values of teamwork, innovation, and technology, encouraging more people to join this community.
Sustainability is important to us. Through our regular mentorship sessions with middle school students, we reach 6 students each time. While preparing them for competitions such as MEBROBOT, HATAYBOT, and ROBOTEX, we support them in making confident progress in many areas and help prepare each of them to become future members of FRC.
As part of Green Crescent Week, we collaborated with Young Green Crescent members and students from Mustafa Kemal University to carry out awareness activities. Within this scope, we delivered presentations introducing the work of the Green Crescent and raising awareness about healthy living.
Following the presentations, we organized fun obstacle courses and activities with the children, helping them reinforce what they learned while also ensuring they had an enjoyable time. Through this project, we aimed to promote awareness of healthy living from an early age and build a strong connection with the children.
